The Family Plot by Megan Collins
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Raised by true-crime-obsessed parents in a secluded mansion on an island haunted by a ruthless serial killer sounds great, right? Not to Dahlia Lighthouse who is still haunted by the disappearance of her twin brother Andy when they were sixteen. Following the death of her father, the Lighthouse family makes a shocking discovery in the grave intended for their dad: Andy’s body. Now everyone is a suspect.
The first of Megan Collins’ books that I have read, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. This page-turner kept me on the edge of my seat and up late at night. There were so many twists and dynamics between family members that the truth would knock your socks off by the end. I definitely would recommend it to anyone looking for a story about an estranged family, family secrets, a deep web of lies, and the search for answers to a serial killer’s identity.
