Rating: 5 out of 5.

Waking up after being thrown from a car, not knowing how you got here, let alone who you are is terrifying enough. That is until Dad comes to the rescue, bringing you home and showing you how to be you. Mary Boone, 17 with a pixie cut and an affinity for books is an adoring daughter. Or so her Dad says. Only the things your loving and overprotective father is telling you don’t match what your gut instinct is screaming from the top of its lungs. You’re not Mary, and that’s not your dad. You are in danger.

That’s Not My Name kept me guessing and on the edge of my seat. It was a one-sit read, and I could not put it down. I did cry at the end. Megan Lally did a wonderful job of revealing and withholding information and playing on the reader’s emotions. I was enthralled and will be reading everything Megan Lally publishes.
