Julia and Sienna are sisters-in-law, business partners, and inseparable best friends – Jason, Julia’s husband and Sienna’s brother, knows not to undermine their bond. With Jason working long hours to secure a promotion, Julia and Sienna hold down the fort at home with Julia and Jason’s moody teenager, Aiden.
When Jason’s boss is brutally murdered, their family ties are tested to their limits.

There were so many twists and turns in this one that I was unsure who to believe. Multiple points of view were used in a way to distort the truth, and I enjoyed that about this story. Pieces of evidence were released slowly as if you were in the story, learning the facts of the crime in real time.
Sienna is crazy, but I like a bit of crazy. Julia knew her husband wasn’t perfect, but it was evident that Sienna looked up to Jason.
The book explored the dynamic between siblings and the loyalty that spreads into their adult romantic relationships.

Sienna looked to Jason to be the stable one, the one that was put together, while Sienna had on-and-off-again relationships and cyberstalked the men that have wronged her in the past.

Jason operated out of guilt from a mistake he made years ago and was prepared to go down with his boss if it came to it.

Julia was the outsider looking into their relationship but was rather quick to judge and see her husband as guilty. Sienna was certain of her brother’s innocence but was unprepared to learn what her brother has kept from her all along.
