GYPSY ROSE BLANCHARD ANDERSON MIDNIGHT RELEASE FROM PRISON

It’s the case that has had us captured to our screens since the release of Prison Confessions, and then her midnight release in December struck the news, and since then, so much has changed. And we ‘ve learned so much more about Gypsy and her family since then.
This is a case that has stayed close to my heart and mind since the truth began to unravel about Gypsy Rose Blanchard over ten years ago when the murder of her mother Deedee Blanchard struck the news. With the help of her boyfriend Nicholas Godejohn, Gypsy was able to escape the clutches of her mother. While Nicholas was the one who had committed the actual crime, Gypsy is seen just as responsible for the crime. To which she does accept.
And now after serving eight years of her sentence, Gypsy Rose is entering a whole new world.
Life After Lockup
It’s impossible to imagine just how long this girl, now a young woman, has waited just to have a slice of normal life – she was prisoner long before she was incarcerated.
In the care of her mother Deedee Blanchard, Gypsy Rose was trapped in a wheelchair suffering from numerous diseases and each of her relationships monitored.
During her incarceration, Gypsy experienced a type of prison that she described to be more freedom than living with her mother.
And she is just now getting a chance to breathe and walk on her own.
Since her release and prior to the airing of Lifetime’s Life After Lockup, life has dramatically changed for Gypsy Rose Blanchard, and Ryan Anderson, Gypsy’s husband of two years. Unfortunately their marriage has come to a surprising end – with the drama unfolding online with Gypsy’s ex-fiance Ken Urker for everyone to see. Tiktok viewers are split and taking sides – yet the truth of it all will all come out in the documentary.
The internet has been divided between supporting Gypsy Rose Blanchard and then demonizing her for her crimes and exposing her as a master manipulator- a harsh reality that many felons upon release face, especially when in the public eye.
Instead of running away and hiding, despite her small suspension from social media as directed by her PO, Gypsy isn’t giving into the haters. She has created a platform for herself to speak out and reintroduce herself while discovering who she is outside of imprisonment.
Despite the hate and gossip about Gypsy, she’s living her best life. And she makes no apologies for it.
Following the split from Ryan Anderson, Gypsy has gotten a makeover including a nose job, several new hairdos and a matching tattoo with her ex-fiance Ken Urker. Despite them disputing rumors that they are back together, social media has revealed Ken and Gypsy being rather cozy with each other at a concert and other public settings.

Rumors from the Blanchard family have risen that they didn’t like Ryan from the start, to which the family has addressed – along with other comments and accusations that Ryan has had to dispute since Gypsy filed for divorce, such as being physically aggressive and being a food hoarder. Ryan has received a lot of support since Gypsy made the decision to end their two year marriage. He signed on from the beginning and stuck by her side when she decided to lean into the celebrity life, knowing that he couldn’t stop her even if he tried.
Gypsy is a headstrong person. Many of her co-inmates have reported this quality about Gypsy, among other things. Mostly negative, some positive. So who is Gypsy Rose Blanchard?
She herself is figuring that out.
Many of her critics have demanded that Nicholas Godejohn get a retrial, claiming it to be unfair that she walks free and he is spending his life behind bars for the same crime.
Whether you hate Gypsy Rose Blanchard, or love her – we all know we are going to be watching Life After Lockup because well, who knows what she will do next!
