Welp, it’s only March, and I am already saying, ‘What a year!’ But seriously, what a year it has already been.

January was spent mostly sick with the nasty flu. I got sick in Vegas while visiting my family and extended my stay until I was better.

And then February – well, let’s just say I need to recover from February.

Firstly, Blood Mist & Bonedust launched on February 18th, and the book launch party on the 26th was an overwhelming success. I had limited copies, but those quickly disappeared, as did some Sinister Anthologies!

I am filled with gratitude and excitement still and forever grateful for the support of my fellow authors and writers, my bookseller team at B&N that encourage my chaos, and my Sinister family.

Secondly…I moved during all of this.

Please, for the love of God, do NOT move while you’re about to publish a book. Unless it is completely unavoidable, then good luck. Just my two cents of advice. That aside, all is well in our new abode. It’s the same complex, just more space. The cats are happy, and Mike and I are too.

I’ve taken a small break from writing as one does after finishing a manuscript and sending it out into the world. But I am getting ready to start writing book two, as well as finishing another story that I will say is what I thought would’ve been my first novel. But then Blood Mist just snuck in and was like ‘um hello, excuse me coming through-‘.

Anywho, back to unpacking the hundreds of books!
