All Good People Here by Ashley Flowers
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
For the well-seasoned, True Crime Fan, podcast host Ashley Flowers has folded mystery upon intrigue in the most captivating way in her novel All Good People Here.
Margot Davies and the rest of Wakarusa, Indiana never forgot the mysterious murder of Margot’s childhood best friend and next-door neighbor, January Jacobs. Found in a ditch outside after having been put to bed by her loving parents, the killer has never been brought to justice.
When Margot returns to town to care for her sick uncle, she returns to more unfinished business than she anticipated. The disappearance of another girl of similar circumstances. And her next big story.
The ending actually shocked me and I will not spoil it – but I now recommend All Good People Here to anyone. I understand why it was Barnes & Noble’s January Pick of the Month, it was well deserved. If you’re looking for morally flawed characters, imposter syndrome, or a captivating whodunnit then look no further! All Good People Here soared to the top of my favorite reads list for the year.
